Shimokitazawa [下北沢[しもきたざわ]] in Tokyo is located a few stops by train from Shibuya and Shinjuku - a trendy place popular with young folks filled with fashion, zakka, second-hand shops and restaurants. There is a very laid back atmosphere here and is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon wandering around.
Get off at Shimokitazawa station on the Inokashira [井の頭線] or Odakyu line [小田急線].
