Hey there! My name is Danny Choo and I am the creator of Smart Doll. I will walk you through what you need to know when choosing a Smart Doll.
The two types of available sets
Smart Doll's (Apart from the licensed anime, game or movie ones) are available in two different flavors - a "Sports Bra Set" & "Apparel Set." Guys normally wear bra's at home when nobody is looking but our Smart Doll guys don't which is why we've given them a pair of Boxer Shorts instead. If you are buying a Smart Doll for the first time then choosing either set is enough - you do not need to get anything else in addition - but extra accessories will enhance your Smart Doll experience.
The Sports Bra Set comes with a Sports Bra and knickers. The Apparel Set comes with the same Sports Bra & Underpants in the Sports Bra Set, Ballerina V-neck T-shirt, Corduroy Pants, Loafers and Pendant.
If you are going to keep your Smart Doll at home or in the office and prefer them skimpy then go for the Sports Bra Set - but the Apparel Set is way better value for your moolah. Choose the Apparel set if you plan on taking them out n about. If you take them out in the Bralettte Set then they may catch a cold.
Alternatively you may want to go for the Sports Bra Set and then choose to customize the look and feel of your Smart Doll by buying additional apparel items.
Which Smart Doll to buy?
The problem with Smart Doll is that there are so many cuties! When I first launched the product back in June 2014 there was only Mirai and now there are loads!
If you cant choose then go for Mirai Suenaga - everything I do revolves around her and she is the result of my beliefs that I stuck to while building my career, starting up my business in Japan and is a symbol of my life philosophy.
Smart Doll Colors
In Smart Doll Land we call our skin colors Milk, Tea and Cocoa. Take note when ordering additional busts or hand parts - the product detail pages state what color they are.
Smart Doll hairstyles
All Smart Dolls come with their default hairstyle already - you do not need to purchase additional ones unless you want to customize the look and feel. Check out Smart Doll hairstyles here.
Smart Doll Busts
Our Smart Doll girls come with a Small bust by default and are the only ones without headlights. You can also buy additional larger bust sizes too which you can easily swap out. But as the larger busts have headlights, I recommend that you do not take your girls out n about in them unless they are wearing a bikini (which hides the headlights to a certain degree) as headlights showing through a T-shirt has known to cause road accidents.
Smart Doll Hands
Smart Dolls comes with a "default" pair of hands but if you want them to hold stuff or broaden the types of poses you can put them in then you may want to get optional hand parts.
Smart Doll Eyes
All Smart Doll's come with their default eyes but if you want to change them then you can pick up different designs and replace them yourself. This involves opening the head and replacing the eyes that are held in place with blu-tac. If you do not want to change the eye design in your chosen Smart Doll then you do not need to buy them. Do be careful not to place the eyes in a manner so that they look deranged because if that happens Smart Dolls will cry - crying dolls is never a good sign.

Smart Doll Stands
Smart Doll's are designed to stand on their own two feet but come with a telescopic stand when you require additional support when out n about. While you do not need to, you can buy an additional Air Stand or Tripod Stand for extra stability. The Air Stand is really meant for displaying a Smart Doll and leaving them on display. The Tripod Stand is designed not only for extra stability but to also take out n about too. I personally recommend the Tripod Stand due to its durability and portability.

Smart Doll USB Hubs
If you need an excuse from the spouse, guardian or boss to buy a Smart Doll, then you can always tell them that you need a USB hub to be more productive at work and that the hub has to look cute. In which case you can buy a USB hub and swap out the torso that comes with the Smart Doll. We have USB hubs available for Smart Doll girls n guys.
About Smart Doll Characters
Smart Doll's are categorized into Culture Japan Characters and Licensed Characters from anime, games and movies. Licensed characters are limited editions due to the way the contracts work with the license holder. Culture Japan characters are further categorized into Frontline and Seasonal.
Frontline characters are available all the time - stock may run out but we make more. Seasonal Characters are available from time to time (at no particular time). If you are after a Seasonal Character who has been out of stock for what seams like forever then keep an eye on my Twitter to see when they will be available again.

You can pay using Credit Card or Paypal and start shopping on our Online Store. We usually ship within 2 - 5 business days and how long it takes to get to you after that depends on how fast your pilot wants to fly.
