Comrades! I'm back in the UK for wee bit for for some wheeling n dealing and to see how mum is doing.
It's been nearly 3 years and it's always nostalgic walking the streets of London looking at how so much has changed over the years - especially when looking through the Star Gate to see myself walking around the same spots when I was a wee lad.

I would love to meet up with comrades in London or who can travel to London this Saturday. I was going to do a photo walk but the unpredictable British weather could throw a spanner into the works.

If you are free this Saturday 12th November then come along to Amhurst Cafe in Hackney at 12:30PM. It was the only venue I could find in the short time but turned out to be the perfect venue as they serve the best English Brekkie that I only get to eat when I'm in the UK. There is only seating for about 30 though and they will be serving their regular customers - you may need to ask if you can share tables if many turn up.

When

Sat 12th November 12:30PM - 4PM (they close at 4) Come and leave anytime.

Entry Fee

None - but buy a plate of all-day brekkie from the mom n pop who run the place who have kindly let us use the place

Address

Amhurst cafe
30 Amhurst Rd, Kingsland, London E8 1JN
Map is http://buff.ly/2fAsQ6b

Closet station is Overground on Hackney Central, but you can take a train to Bethnal Green on the Central and take a but towards hackney Town Hall.

There is no fee to cover venue costs but I would ask that you have some noms to support the mom and pop who run the place - the all day brekkie is about 4 pounds - I always get extra mushrooms on the side. Folks pay for their own grub on the day ^^ It would be good if you left a Google Review for them too!

I know there will be folks who can't make it and apologize for the short notice. It's been difficult to plan more than a few weeks in advance what with running the business. I won't be giving a talk like I did last time but instead try to jump around tables to get some chit chat with all those who can come.

As many of you may know, England and Japan have a Working Holiday Visa agreement which means that you can easily come to Japan to try out the ropes to see what its like living and working in Japan.

If you are interested in working in Japan (maybe with Culture Japan) then I can answer questions n wotnot. And no - you do not need to be into dolls to work with us. I actually do try to strike a balance in the type of folks who work for us - too many folks into dolls is bad and so is too many who know nothing about dolls - I will explain why some other day ^^

Do try to make comrades with other folks while I'm chatting with other folks too!

See you Saturday!
