Wake Up, Girls! is an original anime produced by Ordet and Tatsunoko [竜の子]. It is directed by Yamamoto Yutaka [山本 寛] (Lucky Star, Kannagi) and is written by Machida Touko [待田 堂子] (Lucky Star, IDOLM@STER, Tears to Tiara).
Wake Up, Girls! has started airing on TV Tokyo [テレビ東京] on the 10th of January, 2014.
The story revolves around the recently formed 7-girls idol group managed by Green Leaves, a small production agency in Sendai. The agency is currently in crisis after the president ran away from the company along with all the money, leaving all the debts to the producer forcing him and the girls to keep working together to overcome the situation.

The OP is 7 Girls' War and the ED is Kotonoha Aoba [言の葉 青葉]. Both songs are sung by the Wake Up, Girls! and scheduled to be released on 2014/02/26.
